This FREE workshop is led by students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Cleveland State University. During the class, participants will learn techniques on how to safely lift children to prevent injury to parents/caregivers.  This includes how to reach for a child in/out of a crib; how to reach for the child or toys from the floor; how to maneuver placing/removing a child from a car seat; why placing a child on your hip can be dangerous; and how to manage those 40+ pound infant carseat carriers.  New and expecting parents are welcome, as well as any parent or child-caregiver-- especially ones that may be experiencing back pain or other discomforts while lifting an infant or toddler.

Sorry - that class has already taken place!
