She Literary Circle: A Book Discussion Club
January 27 (Sunday) at 2:00 pm

Instructor
Dawnette Fleischer
Class length
1 hour
The She Literary Circle will be a single-title club. This type of club has readers read the same material to then discuss together. We recommend keeping paper at the ready to record quotes, questions, opinions, and feelings while reading the material; also, to record connections to current and past historical events. Members can either purchase their own personal copies or request to be linked to a library in which we will try to hold the copies. The first book will be The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. Dependent on the size of the material, we will either read one book per month or split the book across several months. Once we meet, we should pull member suggestions for future books and vote in ranking fashion to formulate the order in which we read them.

Check out Lakewood Public Library to find your copy of the book!

Facilitator: Dawnette Fleischer studied at Kent State University and graduated with B.A. in Psychology and Studio Arts. She has always enjoyed and been interested in how books can allow exploration into the infinite inside ourselves, one another, and all manner of realms.
