This is the first course in the "Building She" Series, our offering for personal development in becoming your best self. A new year can help us bring in fresh perspectives in our lives and our goals. Come learn some ways to reset your mindset regarding your outlook on life and in formulating personal goals for the new year. We'll discuss ways of increasing our personal confidence, sense of belonging, and asserting our needs. Each participant will take home an inspirational craft and goal sheet for their new year.
February is all about love but when do we celebrate the love we have for ourselves? We'll discuss concrete ways of enhancing self-esteem through our thinking, our language, and our behaviors. Attendees will participate in several exercises focusing on self-acceptance, strength building, and connecting with others Whether self-esteem has been a struggle your whole life or you feel you need a confidence boost after some setbacks this course will get your back on your feet and back in love with yourself.Calmer She, Mar 14 @ 7pm
Anxious? Join the club. Anxiety is the most common mental health issue today affecting over 40 million adults. This workshop provides a basic understanding of anxiety, its function, and its impact on the mind. Several self-treatment based strategies will be reviewed and rehearsed with participants including mindfulness, thinking strategies, and creative therapies. Leave feeling calmer and a little more in control of your mind.
